Fall Drive | Tiny, Ontario

Anyone who knows me knows that I like driving. I love having a weekend off with no commitments so I can take off somewhere; usually I pick a random point on the map and just drive there to explore. Yesterday I chose Awenda Provincial Park. I've been there before, but it was years ago and my last fond memory there was swimming in a thunderstorm in the biggest waves. So, while everyone else was busy putting the finishing touches on their Halloween costume, apparently I thought it would be a great idea to take this two hour (one way) road trip without even having a costume planned out. Needless to say, it was lacking. And by lacking I mean non-existent. I think I made the right decision.

Lately, I also really enjoy listening to country music when I'm driving. I'm not sure why, because I never listen to it any other time really, but put me in a car on a long drive, and I'm searching out the country music stations. Here is my current country music playlist so far:

My Church | Maren Morris
Different for Girls | Dierks Bentley (feat. Elle King)
Bartender | Lady Antebellum
80s Mercedes | Maren Morris
War Paint | Madeline Merlo
I Hope You Dance | Lee Ann Womack
Travelin' Soldier | Dixie Chicks
I'm An Open Road | Paul Brandt (feat. Jess Moskaluke)
Vice | Miranda Lambert
Elevator | Jess Moskaluke
Girl Crush | Little Big Town
Forever Country | Artists of Then, Now & Forever
I'll Be the Moon | Dierks Bentley (feat. Maren Morris)
Blue Ain't Your Color | Keith Urban
Starboy | The Weeknd (feat. Daft Punk) ...It's on every one of my lists right now
There's a trail by the side of the road that crosses this foot bridge and goes on for 22 km.
Entering Awenda Provincial Park.
Kettle's Lake.
This reminded me of a Group of Seven painting.
Sawlog Bay.
Give me a beach, even on the coldest day and especially an empty one.
One day I'll drive down Route 66 and sleep in the back of my hatchback (or better yet, a VW bus).
Next week I want to drive to the Scenic Caves in Collingwood, where they have the longest suspension bridge in Southern Ontario at 420 feet. This will have to do until I visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge in BC.
